Over the next few weeks, I’ll be visiting Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York. Hopefully I’ll have some time to squeeze in a few yoga classes. If anyone can recommend some good studios in these cities, I’d really appreciate it. Many thanks!

Check out onlyoga in Atlanta – http://www.onlyoga.com. Any class taught by John is great, my favorite being “primary series level 2″ which is primary with some other challenging postures, handstands, or maybe a bit of second series thrown in.
Comment by kayla August 5, 2008 @ 8:36 amThere is a dearth of ashtanga classes in Atlanta, and this studio is one of maybe two that teaches that method.
This is my favorite studio when I visit Philadelphia.
Comment by greenfrog August 5, 2008 @ 6:09 pmI agree with Onlyoga, its the best studio in Atlanta, in terms of advanced classes. My favorite classes are actually not the strict Ashtanga series classes. I love the Hip Opening Class with John Meridith on Sundays, and Rosalyn’s Happy Hour of Power Fridays at 5:30. Both fabulous, creative, and challenging. ps. great blog!

Comment by leo August 6, 2008 @ 5:24 pmTry Yoga Sutra Philadelphia. They’re at 1401 Walnut, and just recently opened. They offer Ashtanga, vinyasa and Iyengar styles.
