I am not a regular Bikram yoga person, but while visiting my sister in Chicago I have taken 3 classes in 3 days and must say that I'm amazed how my body feels after practicing several days in a row. I no longer feel as though I'm in survival mode, but rather the practice feels more internal and I feel as though I am more in tune with gaging my breath in relation to how far I want to go into the poses. I am planning on taking a class tomorrow and look forward to how the experience will be. If you are ever in Chicago stop by Om on the Range located on Grace Street in the Ravenswood area. The teachers are excellent and the environment is very supportive.

Had a similar experience this week, and must agree there's a lot to admire in the style. The nausea only lasted the first time for me, except after Ustrasana, and I'm still sussing out what that's about. I enjoy your informative, casual, factual style.
